Overview
Responsibilities:
- Teach the course following the approved syllabus
- Develop a detailed course plan to share with the enrolled students and hold regular class/office hours accordingly
- Give homework and provide feedback on assignments on a consistent basis
- Ensure that all quizzes, tests, papers, and exams are graded and returned to students in a timely manner, duly noted with constructive feedback
- Find, study, and implement practical teaching strategies, as needed
- Ensure that learning objectives are considered when designing classroom activities
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons, as planned
- Consult materials from different sources to fulfill the students’ needs
- Assess, record and report on the development, progress, attendance and classroom comportment of students
- Provide guidance and advice to students on educational matters, also providing information on ancillary sources for reference
- Ensure high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching
- Perform related duties, as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field
- Excellent command of the English Language
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
