Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct monthly audits of agricultural operations, especially focusing on fertilizer use and chemical treatments in our 300-hectare intensive orchards
  • Evaluate the impact of agricultural decisions on harvest outcomes and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Regularly audit HR, accounting, and warehouse processes, providing suggestions for improvement and integration of more efficient workflows
  • Travel regularly to field sites (located ~100 km from the office) to get first-hand insights into operations and ensure audit findings are grounded in reality
  • Communicate findings with department heads and leadership, proposing realistic, data-driven improvements
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports not only based on accounting data but also including on-the-ground observations for a more objective evaluation
  • Analyze data from various financial and operational databases to generate accurate insights on business performance
  • Assist in establishing and refining internal processes and standards in a rapidly developing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables, etc.) and MS Office suite
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and creating analytical reports
Required Qualifications:
  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in agriculture-related auditing or financial control
  • Fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian
  • Ability to understand and interpret reports from international consultants
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel frequently to remote locations
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to stay objective and grounded when evaluating performance
