“Stellar Hotels” LLC is looking for a Head of Sales Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and invest Sales Strategy meant to increase business profitability
  • Establish sales short-term and long-term goals in accordance with market trends
  • Conduct market research and set fact-based development policy
  • Evaluate market trends and evaluate competition
  • Generate new business ideas to increase market share
  • Conduct efficient communication pipe-lines with clientele
  • Oversee and ensure the update of rates, and promotions on the hotel website, OTA’s (Online travel agents), GDS, etc. without any rate parity
  • Work with sales managers to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy.
  • Responsible for the training of sales managers and other staff.
  • Follow and promote hotel chain standards with guests, and co-workers
  • Organize travel agent appreciation rates for slow months
  • Review and approve any special corporate negotiated rates
  • Evaluate and drive the hotel’s participation in the various sales channels, Market Sales, Event Booking Centres, electronic lead channels, etc
  • Represent the Hotel Chain at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the Company
  • Make reports to Higher Management as required
Required Qualifications:
  • A proven track record of success in sales and marketing in hospitality,
  • A high degree of commercial awareness
  • Understanding of links between sales and profit
  • Good business sense and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Solid knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages
  • Solid understanding of industry market
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and effective networking skills
  • Excellent negotiations skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
