Overview
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Assign room duties and prioritize cleaning based on arrivals, departures, and occupancy
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to resolve room status and maintenance issues
- Train, coach, and support housekeeping team members to improve performance and service quality
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and hygiene procedures
- Complete daily reports, checklists, and housekeeping documentation
- Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist in onboarding and training new housekeeping employees
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and stand or walk for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
