The Role:
The Human Resources (HR) Officer will be responsible for the compliance, coordination, and efficiencies of the HR processes: coordination of hiring and onboarding processes, organization of team retreats and team buildings, partnering with training centers for staff development opportunities, as well as supporting various HR administrative tasks.

Hiring and Onboarding (50%)
- Independently oversee hiring process of new employees, starting from announcement posting and ending on rejection letters;
- Identify and source high potential candidates through Linkedin and other networks;
- Coordinate onboarding process of newly hired employees and ensure smooth and engaging onboarding process for new hires.
Professional development (30%)
- Need assessment for professional development;
- Assess needs, analyze gaps, research best practices, and partner with local and international training centers (including TFAll) to identify, develop and implement successful and innovative learning and development programs;
- Utilize adult learning theory to provide customized and tailored learning opportunities;
- Identify, develop and offer training in the use of online resources and technologies to support organizational development;
- Work with the Head of Human Resources in preparation of monthly “Leadership Series”;
- Coordinate all team retreats and team building activities processes together with the Head of HR;
- Collaborate effectively with Department heads to understand their specific training requirements.
HR Administration (10%)
- Support with HR administration duties when needed;
- Support procurement functions as assigned.
Support Org-Wide Initiatives (10%)
- Serve on other working groups and projects as needed.

- Hiring and Onboarding: The biggest priority for the HR Manager will be the coordination of hiring and onboarding processes in collaboration with the Head of HR.
- Professional Development and Training - The HR Manager is responsible for organizing the continuous professional development for the whole team and individuals based on the departmental and organizational needs.
- Multi-Tasking and Organization: Given the nature of the role, the HR Manager should be strong in multi-tasking and organization.
- Communication and Cross-Collaboration: The HR Manager should have strong communication skills to interact with both internal staff and external people (job candidates, vendors, etc.).
Aside from these core competencies, Teach For Armenia is also looking for the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in HR or recruitment (preferred);
- Fluency in Armenian is required and English is preferred;
- At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree (required).
