Galaxsys is looking for an experienced and creative Illustrator to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Generate ideational sketches that quickly communicate visual ideas
- Prepare rough drafts based on project requirements
- Combine hand drawing and digital painting to create illustrations, themes, and characters for games
- Collaborate with the design team to develop new patterns and visual styles
- Contribute original ideas and creative input
- Deliver assets consistently while meeting production deadlines
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to resolve design challenges and meet deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Proven experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or in a similar role
- Strong character concept art skills, supported by a portfolio showcasing high-quality work
- Experience creating illustrations and characters inspired by historical, fantasy, mainstream trends, and pop culture references
- Strong drawing skills with attention to detail (both traditional and digital)
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid knowledge of image editing and digital illustration software such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong aesthetic sense and conceptual skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and meet deadlines
- Experience working with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., generative AI for ideation, reference development, or workflow enhancement)
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or a related field
