SoftConstruct is looking for a IT Support Specialist.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software
  • Manage IT helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
  • Monitor and support system performance, updates, antivirus, and backups
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Support enterprise software deployments and system upgrades
  • Assist in IT projects, including migrations and network improvements
  • Educate employees on IT tools and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and VPNs
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Knowledge of Office 365, cloud-based solutions (Azure, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
