Overview
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop functional prototypes using platforms like Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, Arduino, and ESP
- Develop algorithms for object, color, and symbol detection, specifically focusing on game element state recognition using Python and OpenCV
- Select, connect, and configure various hardware components, including cameras, sensors, actuators, and lighting systems
- Write efficient code to manage low-level communication with peripherals through GPIO, I2C, UART, and SPI protocols
- Bridge the gap between hardware and software by integrating systems with backend services via REST APIs, WebSockets, or MQTT
- Perform rigorous testing of embedded systems to ensure stability and real-time performance in diverse environments. Maintain a structured and well-documented knowledge base of tests, updates, and experiments
- Support cross-department collaboration during pilot projects, rollouts, and innovation testing in real or demo studio environments
- Ensure compliance with internal technical standards, safety rules, and confidentiality agreements
Required Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in IT systems, hardware integration, or live streaming technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software systems with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with network systems, streaming protocols (RTMP, WebRTC), and audiovisual equipment is an advantage
- Ability to work with electronics (sensors, actuators, lighting, and camera modules)
- Technical documentation and test protocol creation experience
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments and testing incomplete or prototype systems
- Basic understanding of programming/scripting (Python, JS, or similar) is a plus
- Knowledge of communication protocols: GPIO, I2C, UART, SPI
- Experience with backend integration using REST, WebSockets, and MQTT
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Armenian
