Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with exceptional test coordination skills to support a large-scale program involving business systems migration and core systems updates. This role is focused on orchestration of testing activities rather than direct team management.

The ideal candidate will ensure testing efforts are optimized, well-structured, and aligned with program goals, while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Working closely with stakeholders and technical teams, you will make testing priorities and progress visible, and proactively mitigate risks — driving outcomes with minimal supervision.

Project Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and orchestrate all QA testing activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, project managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of scope and priorities.
  • Manage test planning, scheduling, execution tracking, and reporting across projects.
  • Monitor and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and accurate status updates.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps to manage test cases, work items, boards, dashboards, and generate project status reports.
  • Ensure testing progress, risks, and issues are clearly communicated to leadership and project teams.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities, maintaining focus on quality outcomes while meeting deadlines.
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with large migration projects, or with Travel domain.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of progressive QA experience including significant time in senior or lead roles, with strong test coordination experience.
  • Advanced-level proficiency in Azure DevOps for Test Management, Defect Management, Work Item tracking, Queries, Dashboards, and Boards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leaders, technical teams, and external partners; experience working in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision while delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and adaptability in fast-paced project environments.
  • Ability to work with partial overlap to UK business hours (until at least 4–5 pm UK time).
