Overview
Digitain is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its Corporate and Employment Legal Department.
Forming part of the Legal Directorate, you will play a key role in ensuring that Digitain’s corporate legal framework, employment relations, and internal legal operations comply with the highest legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
In this role, you will provide legal support on corporate structuring, corporate governance, and employment matters, advise on local and cross-border company operations, and ensure alignment of Digitain’s internal policies and employment practices with applicable laws and best practices.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and employment-related contracts, internal regulations, and other legal documents
- Providing timely and practical legal advice on corporate, labor, and HR compliance matters
- Advising on corporate structuring, company formation, and internal legal operations (including subsidiaries and affiliates)
- Supporting management in employment-related matters, including recruitment, terminations, and workplace policies
- Conducting legal risk assessments and ensuring compliance with labor and corporate legislation
- Preparing and maintaining corporate records, charters, and internal policies in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements
- Researching and analyzing Armenian and international corporate and employment laws and practices
- Maintaining documentation flow and reporting within the Legal Directorate
- Performing other ad-hoc duties as required to support business operations
- LL.B. and LL.M. degrees in Law
- At least 4–6 years of professional experience in a law firm or as in-house legal counsel within a commercial organization
- Strong knowledge of Corporate, Labor, Civil, and Administrative Law
- Experience in corporate structuring, corporate governance, company formation, HR legal support, and internal policy development
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Russian
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated professional with a high level of integrity
- Proficiency in document and project management tools (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.)
