Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements, create test plans and define test strategy for complex features
  • Design and execute test cases to provide reasonable test coverage
  • Work closely with Product Owner to gather and clarify product requirements
  • Conduct exploratory test sessions to find important bugs
  • Investigate and document defects in issue tracking system
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Identify risky areas and suggest areas of improvements to minimize the risk
  • Participate in release planning and organize regression testing for project release
  • Create test documentation: test plans/requirements/acceptance criteria, test reports
  • Use scripting to create test data and efficiently support relevant test activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts to support regression testing
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Strong knowledge of databases /SQL/
  • Experience in testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman/SoapUI
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience in creating testing documentation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience in automation testing is a big plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and critical thinking
  • Experience in organizing device compatibility testing to cover to provide reasonable coverage on required devices
  • Self-starter, quick learner, attentive to details and capable of multi-tasking
