Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to design, build, and optimize microservice‑based components for a large‑scale investment management platform. In this role, you will work with complex domain logic, high‑volume financial data, and modern distributed architectures. You will collaborate closely with quantitative teams and business stakeholders to transform financial models and requirements into robust, high‑performance software solutions. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys domain‑rich challenges, clean architecture, and high system reliability. Client: Our client is one of the world’s top 10 investment companies with headquarters in Great Britain. They are building a data market that will aggregate and process data from multiple data feeds and systems like stock exchanges, news feeds, stock exchange brokers, internal quantitative systems, and others. Project Overview: The project is related to a portfolio management solution based on microservices. You will be supporting and developing new features in a team of professionals which involves asset managers, business analysts, and quantitative developers.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in developing commercial applications on the .NET platform
  • Experience in and strong understanding of .Net (including the latest versions), ASP.NET Core
  • Experience in the development of applications based on microservice architecture
  • Practical experience with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
  • Solid understanding of web services, RESTful API
  • Deep understanding of message brokers with hands-on experience with one of the following: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, and Amazon MQ.
  • Good understanding of DDD
  • Basic understanding of GraphQL
  • Good spoken English

  • Experience with Angular

  • Experience in the Finance domain or CFA certification
  • Experience in individual investments
  • Experience with Windows Forms
  • Experience with Azure AD
