Overview

Responsibilities:
  • plan, design, and implement network systems, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, and internet connections
  • configure and install various network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
  • monitor network performance and ensure network availability and reliability
  • perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
  • troubleshoot and resolve network problems, including hardware and software issues
  • implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
  • conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions
  • provide technical support and guidance to users and IT staff
  • maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, network changes, and incident reports
  • generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and system updates
  • work closely with other IT team members, management, and external vendors to coordinate network activities and projects
Required Qualifications:
  • university degree in computer science or other technical fields
  • relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA) are a plus
  • at least 3 years of professional experience
  • strong knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • proficiency with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and network operating systems (CISCO, Palo Alto);
  • experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
