Overview

Responsibilities:
  • planning, developing and implementing network systems, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranet and Internet connectivity
  • configuring and deploying various network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs
  • ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of the network and systems, including service packs, patches, hotfixes and security configurations
  • troubleshooting network-related issues
  • implementing and managing network security measures
  • providing technical support and guidance to users and IT staff
  • properly preparing and maintaining documentation related to network configurations and changes, as well as incident reports
  • preparing periodic reports on network performance, security incidents and system updates
  • closely collaborating with other IT team members, management and external vendors to coordinate network operations and project implementation
Required Qualifications:
  • bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or another technical field
  • at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • excellent knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • hands-on experience with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and network solutions, including Cisco and Palo Alto
  • experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • good command of Russian and English
Nice To Have:
  • relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA) will be considered an advantage
  • excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
