Jellyfish Yerevan is looking for a Operational Director.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct the administrative functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of each venue’s operations
  • Clearly describe, assign, and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food & beverage positions
  • Oversee that all guest and employee concerns are resolved in a way that promotes guest retention
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and front-of-house personnel, to ensure exceptional customer service and a positive work environment
  • Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers and ensure timely delivery of ingredients and other items
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a general management role in hospitality
  • Knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages
  • Passionate about hospitality, food and beverage and morale/culture
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate employees to perform effectively and efficiently
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of restaurant operations — including customer service, staff management, food safety and sanitation, menu development and inventory
