Overview
We are looking for a Platform Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD automation to help build and evolve a scalable developer platform. You will work on improving developer experience, automating platform operations, integrating engineering tools, and enabling self service capabilities for development teams.
Project Overview:
The project focuses on creating a modern developer platform that streamlines software delivery, infrastructure provisioning, governance, and developer onboarding. The platform integrates cloud infrastructure, automation workflows, developer tools, and service catalogs to provide a consistent and efficient engineering experience across multiple teams.
- Develop and maintain platform services, automation solutions, and infrastructure components
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Manage AWS infrastructure, identity management, and access control policies
- Integrate developer tools including source control, CI/CD, security, and artifact management platforms
- Develop Python based automation scripts and platform services
- Design onboarding workflows and self service capabilities for engineering teams
- Implement API driven integrations and orchestration mechanisms for external services and tools
- Support agent, skill, and tool discovery, governance, and consumption patterns within AWS environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption
- Contribute to platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence
- Support troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps roles
- Hands on experience with Python in production environments
- Hands on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure
- Experience creating and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience managing AWS IAM policies, roles, and permissions
- Experience integrating developer tools into platform workflows
- Knowledge of platform engineering principles and developer experience practices
- Experience working with APIs and automation driven integrations
- Understanding of software delivery lifecycle processes and DevOps methodologies
- Experience with Internal Developer Portals, preferably Port.io
- Experience with software cataloging and service catalog management
- Knowledge of golden path implementation strategies
- Experience building developer self service solutions
- Understanding of security and compliance practices within the software development lifecycle
- Experience supporting agent based platforms, tool governance, and integration ecosystems
- Knowledge of cloud native platform architecture and operational best practices
