Overview
We are looking for a Platform Engineer with experience in platform development, data processing, and governance workflow integration. In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of governance processes, migration activities, and automation solutions that support enterprise platform operations and lifecycle management.
Project Overview:
The project focuses on building a centralized governance and migration platform that supports the onboarding, review, approval, and activation of enterprise services and assets. The solution streamlines governance workflows, improves operational efficiency, and provides visibility throughout the lifecycle of platform resources.
- Develop and maintain Python based ETL scripts for data migration and transformation activities
- Implement and support governance lifecycle workflows, including approval processes and transition to active status
- Collaborate with platform and governance teams to automate operational processes
- Integrate platform services with enterprise governance workflows
- Support migration activities and validate data quality throughout the migration lifecycle
- Develop and maintain tools that improve governance process efficiency and visibility
- Troubleshoot workflow, integration, and data related issues
- Contribute to technical documentation and operational procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities
- Support ongoing platform maintenance and enhancement initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, data engineering, backend engineering, or a related field
- Experience developing Python based automation, integration, or ETL solutions
- Experience supporting enterprise governance workflow integration
- Knowledge of data transformation, migration, and validation processes
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Understanding of platform operations and lifecycle management concepts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams
- Experience with workflow automation platforms
- Experience supporting enterprise migration programs
- Knowledge of governance frameworks and approval lifecycle processes
- Experience working with cloud based platforms and services
- Understanding of data quality and compliance controls
- Exposure to platform onboarding and resource lifecycle management
