Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Define and communicate the Data Platform product vision, scope, and long-term objectives, aligning squad goals with enterprise data and digital strategy
  • Own and maintain the Data Platform product roadmap, balancing architectural evolution, operational stability, and business-driven initiatives
  • Lead the Data Platform squad backlog, translating business, architectural, and technical requirements into clear user stories and priorities
  • Prioritize platform capabilities including data ingestion, processing, streaming, DWH evolution, reliability, performance, and automation
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers and data architects to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with target architecture
  • Act as the primary interface between the squad and business stakeholders, Architects, Data Governance, and IT.
  • Manage dependencies and cross-team alignment among various data-related squads
  • Define and track KPIs for the data platform (reliability, delivery lead time, data availability, adoption)
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives, driving continuous improvement
  • Ensure all platform initiatives comply with data security, privacy, and governance standards
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, databases (SQL/NoSQL), data warehouses, ETL/ELT, and real-time data processing concepts
  • Ability to discuss data architecture, system design, and technical trade-offs with engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management, prioritization, and communication skills
