Digitain LLC is looking for a Product & Technical Compliance Unit Head.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement robust compliance frameworks and long-term strategies to ensure the company’s products meet all technical and regulatory requirements across operational markets, aligning with both company goals and regulatory standards
  • Lead and oversee the execution of technical compliance gap assessments, audits, regulatory filings, and product certification across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate compliance across all markets
  • Continuously assess and update technical compliance processes to keep pace with evolving regulations, business needs, and industry trends. Monitor global gaming regulations and provide strategic insights to ensure internal policies and procedures remain proactive and adaptable
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and teams across product development, technical, legal, and operations departments to ensure regulatory requirements are fully integrated into product design, development, and operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, external partners, and stakeholders, facilitating approvals and maintaining smooth regulatory processes
  • Identify and proactively manage compliance risks across products and markets, proposing effective mitigation strategies and driving the implementation of compliant technical solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Oversee internal and external compliance audits, security inspections, and compliance-related projects. Ensure that all required documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and submitted to relevant authorities in a timely manner
  • Foster a culture of compliance within the organization by providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to internal teams
  • Lead change management efforts, ensuring the organization adapts to evolving regulations and compliance obligations. Ensure smooth implementation of compliance processes as regulatory landscapes change
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on compliance activities, risks, and any regulatory changes impacting product launches, market entry, and operational processes
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Product & Technical Compliance team, including compliance managers, specialists and the coordinator, ensuring the team is aligned with the company’s strategic goals and compliance objectives
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify and apply best compliance practices, ensuring that the company’s compliance approach is best-in-class and adaptable to industry changes
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the iGaming industry, with a proven track record of managing product and technical compliance across multiple regulated markets
  • Extensive experience in navigating complex regulatory frameworks, particularly in the iGaming sector, and managing compliance processes across diverse jurisdictions
  • Deep knowledge of global gaming regulations, including player protection, data privacy laws, and technical compliance standards, with an ability to keep up with evolving regulatory landscapes
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in leading, mentoring, and developing compliance teams, as well as coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment with compliance requirements and business objectives
  • Expertise in project management and the ability to lead multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining compliance across various product lines and markets
  • Proven experience in Change Management, including assessing compliance impacts of regulatory changes and implementing organizational strategies to address them effectively
  • Ability to engage with regulatory bodies on compliance-related matters, prepare comprehensive compliance reports, and manage external communication with regulators and partners across jurisdictions
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing complex regulatory frameworks, identifying compliance risks, and developing proactive mitigation strategies to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex regulatory information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Multi-product knowledge (e.g., Sportsbook, Live Casino, Casino Games) and a deep understanding of how different products interact with regulatory requirements, ensuring product compliance across various categories
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain oversight and ensure compliance across multiple products, markets, and regulatory environments
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is a must
