OneMarketData LLC (OneTick) is a US-based company with staff located around the world. We offer several software-as-a-service solutions in AWS, including Trade Surveillance (a wide range of tools that allows you to identify trading strategies that try to influence the market price or manipulate other participants) and Transaction Cost Analysis or BestEx(this is the product that helps companies evaluate how well their orders are executed relative to the market price and how much they affect the market price).
Our company is a partner of major banks, market centers, brokers, and information providers around the world. Our customers are the NYSE, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the European Central Bank, Bloomberg, Itiviti, Optiver, Instinet, Tudor Funds, Vanguard, and Viking.
We are now searching for a full-time Project Manager whose main responsibilities will be communicating with customers and organizing teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for medium-complexity projects. Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets, aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Execution: Lead project teams in executing project plans, ensuring milestones are achieved and deliverables are completed on schedule. Exercise decision-making autonomy as appropriate, with escalation to senior management when additional support is needed.
  • Budget Management (if required by the contract type): Work within budgets set by Lead PMs, monitoring the works to ensure alignment with contract constraints. Support regular budget reporting.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders, managing relationships with internal teams and external clients. Provide regular project updates, communicate risks, and address issues as they arise.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate across departments to foster alignment between product, technology, and compliance teams, ensuring cohesive execution of project goals.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks early, assess their impact, and suggest strategies to mitigate them. Adapt project plans as necessary to address evolving risks and maintain project continuity.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for project deliverables, conducting regular quality checks and project reviews to meet client expectations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations as needed. Ensure all documentation is accurate and adheres to organizational standards.
  • Reporting: Generate and present reports detailing project progress, budget status, and milestones, providing stakeholders with timely insights into project performance.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative team environment, offering guidance, support, and motivation to team members. Mentor junior project managers, sharing insights on best practices and project management methodologies.
  • Professional Development: Engage with Senior and Lead PMs for mentorship, continuously developing expertise in managing complex regulatory financial technology projects.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager, contributing to departmental initiatives and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in international IT projects, including end-to-end product implementation and custom development projects.
  • Experience in back-end project implementation (front-end components are up to 10 % of all project tasks) and infrastructure-oriented projects
  • Experience in project planning and budgeting
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Good understanding of SDLC
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication, and presentation skills
  • Speaks English fluently.
  • Be ready to work with multiple projects at the same time
  • FinTech background will be a plus.
