Overview
We are looking for a QA Lead with strong experience in non-functional testing, including performance, scalability, and resilience testing. The role focuses on defining and implementing testing strategies to ensure system stability under load and during failover scenarios. Client: Our client is a large telecommunications company operating in Central Asia, providing mobile and digital services to millions of users. The company is actively investing in modernization of its IT systems, cloud solutions, and digital platforms to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Project Overview: The project involves working with enterprise-scale systems, integrations, and high-load environments in a fast-paced and collaborative engineering culture.
- Design and implement strategies for non functional testing across enterprise systems
- Plan and execute performance testing including load tests, stress tests, and spike tests
- Conduct scalability testing and evaluate system behavior under varying traffic patterns
- Plan and run resilience testing including disaster recovery scenarios
- Validate system switchover and failover processes
- Define performance benchmarks and quality standards for platform stability
- Analyze test results and propose improvements to enhance reliability and resilience
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams on testing workflow
- Support planning and execution of scenarios for business critical components
- Participate in incident analysis and system stabilization activities
- Experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA Engineer focused on non functional testing
- Hands on experience with JMeter, Gatling, k6 or similar performance testing tools
- Understanding of distributed systems and high availability architectures
- Knowledge of failover mechanisms and disaster recovery practices
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to define testing strategies and support team members in adopting them
- Experience working in telecommunications or high load enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud infrastructure
- Experience with containerized environments
