Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure team adherence to QA strategies, processes, and quality gates defined by the QA Manager
  • Translate strategic directives into actionable plans and daily priorities
  • Promote knowledge-sharing and skill development, ensuring consistent adoption of technical and process improvements
  • Implement testing activities to verify quality coverage across functional, non-functional, and security areas
  • Analyze complex functionality, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
  • Manage the creation, review, and execution of test documents and automation scripts.
  • Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert in evolving the test automation suite and integrations with required services
  • Ensure smooth integration of automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to optimize execution
  • Supervise the test closure phase by reviewing deliverables with QA team members
  • Configure and maintain QA environments and tools to meet project & testing needs
  • Recommend and assist in adopting new tools & frameworks in line with the QA Manager’s strategy
  • Collaborate with project & cross-functional teams to align goals and promote teamwork
  • Coordinate with product owners to ensure timely defect lifecycle management
  • Identify risks, propose mitigation measures & perform root cause analysis on critical defects
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, identify training needs, and align team development plans with line management
  • Participate in technical interviews and contribute to hiring decisions
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 7+ years in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role within IT or enterprise projects
  • Extensive understanding of software testing fundamentals, software development methodologies, risk-based testing approaches, and best practices
  • Strong self-management, organizational and planning skills, including workload balancing and deadline management.
  • Hands-on experience with security-focused functional & non-functional testing
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and CI/CD integrations (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience working with on-demand, cloud services, and enterprise web applications
  • Solid knowledge of coding/scripting (e.g. JavaScript, Python or similar)
  • Strong understanding of client–server architecture, network protocols, web technologies, and standards
  • Extensive experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc...)
  • Strong understanding of VCSs (Git)
  • Strong experience in task & test management systems (e.g. Jira, TestRail)
  • Solid experience in performance testing (e.g. JMeter, k6)
  • Solid experience in working with databases and SQL
  • Solid experience with log management systems (e.g. Grafana, Datadog, Elastic)
  • Strong verbal and written technical English proficiency (B2-C1)
