Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across multiple platforms and Tribe’s teams
  • Ensure clear visibility of release status, identify, track, and manage release risks, and dependencies
  • Maintain and manage release calendars, ensuring transparency and alignment across all teams of DC Tribe
  • Collaborate with product teams within, stakeholders to align release planning with business priorities
  • Partner with DevOps teams to continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployments strategies
  • Lead release readiness reviews, Go/No-Go discussions, and post-release retrospectives
  • Manage release documentation including release notes, communication plans
  • Coordinate hotfix and emergency releases when required, ensuring minimal disruption to users
  • Monitor the health of production environments post-release and coordinate incident response or rollbacks if necessary
  • Monitor post release outcomes, register post release incidents and implement lessons learned
  • Capture lessons learned and implement corrective actions to improve Tribe’s Release management process
  • Monitor release management metrics, providing regular updates to Tribe leads and identifying areas for process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance standards, frameworks, security, and internal quality standards thought release lifecycles
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise-level release and change management governance (when applicable)
  • Act as a central point of contact for all matters related to release management within the Digital Channels tribe
  • Collaborate with Governance team and participate in development of release management process, procedures, standards
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile, DevOps) preferred
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in release management, software delivery, or related roles within the Fintech or technology industry
  • Ability to manage multiple releases across several teams
  • Experience with mobile app release cycles (IOS/Android)
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and automation tools
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches
  • Experience with release management tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives concurrently, and drive activities to completion
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex release issues and drive resolution
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to driving continuous improvement that meet business objectives
