Overview

This highly technical role involves architecting and implementing Data Cloud solutions that unify customer data across multiple sources and enable activation readiness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud implementation experience, strong data modeling skills, and a backend-oriented architectural mindset. Project Overview: The Salesforce Data Cloud Senior Developer will focus on building and maintaining a scalable customer data foundation to support Salesforce Marketing Cloud activation in a B2B environment. This includes data ingestion, identity resolution, customer profile unification, and data modeling aligned with CRM activation needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure and support the Salesforce Data Cloud environment and Customer 360 setup.
  • Design unified customer profile structures and implement identity resolution logic.
  • Manage data ingestion using batch, streaming, and manual methods from external systems, including APIs and data lakes (Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, etc.).
  • Develop scalable, activation-ready data models that support segmentation, lead scoring, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Support synchronization and data flow architecture between CRM, Data Cloud, and external platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Validate and troubleshoot data ingestion, synchronization, and integration processes.
  • Support API and connector configurations to ensure data quality and mapping consistency.
  • Perform technical governance, QA validations, and deployment support.
Required Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Customer 360 architecture.
  • Expertise in data modeling, identity resolution, and customer profile unification.
  • Strong API integration skills and knowledge of Salesforce CRM data models.
  • Experience with data ingestion, synchronization logic, and SQL-based data transformation.
  • Proven technical troubleshooting and backend problem-solving capabilities.
  • Architecture-focused mindset with experience working in complex CRM ecosystems.
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations and CRM activation use cases.
  • Knowledge of segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and CDP implementations.
  • Experience with activation datasets and personalization strategies.
