Overview
GeoCosmos CJSC is looking for a Satellite Image Processing Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Mapping and visualization of geospatial data using GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Processing and fusing satellite data to enhance image quality and extract valuable insights
- Collaborating with the team to generate meaningful visualizations and analytical reports
- Developing automated data processing tools using Python (GDAL, Rasterio, OpenCV)
- Data analysis and classification using machine learning and remote sensing techniques
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related fields
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Geophysics or Cartography
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures, as well as think outside the box when needed
- Proficiency in English
