Overview

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Armenia office and strengthen our finance function. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex accounting and tax matters in a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all transactions in the 1C accounting system, including bank, revenue, expenses, FA, inventory, and business trip reports, and ensure timely monthly close
  • Initiate payments based on pre-approved requests twice per week
  • Collect, review, and archive primary accounting documents in compliance with Armenian tax and accounting regulations, and maintain a register of documents
  • Perform reconciliations of vendors, bank accounts, customers, and other internal management systems
  • Maintain FA registers with all necessary analytics such as employees, serial numbers, and locations, reconcile with the IT department database, and manage QR codes
  • Participate in the annual FA/inventory stock count
  • Handle other FA/inventory-related transactions, including additions, disposals, sales, transfers to employees, write-offs to expenses, and QR code creation
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and statistical reports, including withholding tax, VAT, export of services, import operations, and Transfer Pricing-related documentation
  • Take part in external audits, SOX or internal control reviews, and tax inspection reviews as required
  • Support the automation and digitalization of accounting processes, ensuring alignment with Armenian legal and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of internal accounting systems and workflows
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests and act as a replacement during team members' vacations and leaves
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Armenian tax legislation
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Fluency in Armenian
  • English B1+ level or higher
