Overview

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Accounting Adviser who satisfies the below requirements set forth for the mentioned position and will be involved in the Company’s assignments aimed at maintaining the accounting of the Company Clients.

Senior Accounting Advisor is supervised directly by Senior staff (Team Leader) and reports to him/her on a regular basis on completion of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tax returns and statistical reports for the Clients, as well as other reports required by different state authorities,
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements according to the IFRS,
  • Prepare regular management reports on analyses of revenues, debtors, creditors, costs, etc.,
  • Handle the daily communication with the Clients,
  • Processing of Clients’ accounting data and posting into the accounting software
  • Maintain accounting records for assets and liabilities,
  • Make bank payments in a timely manner by an online banking system,
  • Conduct the task reviews of junior staff,
  • Manage the Clients’ bank accounts,
  • Receive the business trip expense reports from Clients’ staff members, check and make sure they are compiled correctly,
  • Upon necessity replace group member and carry on his/her duties,
  • Other duties or tasks related to the Clients’ accounting instructed by the senior staff.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics,
  • CAAA (Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia) student or ACCA student will be a plus,
  • At least 3 years of related experience,
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and Tax and Labor Code of RA,
  • Deep knowledge of accounting software (Armenian software), spreadsheet and word processing skills,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills,
  • Focused and detail-oriented,
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Language skills: Armenian, English, Russian,
  • Professional appearance and behavior.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate will be selected as a result of a professional interview.
The interview will be conducted in 2 phases:

1 phase – interview with the initially shortlisted candidates to confirm the required professional expertise, knowledge of languages, proficiencies, and skills;

2 phase – the candidates who successfully pass the first phase will be invited to testing aimed at verifying their in-depth professional knowledge through extended case tasks.
