Overview
BlueQubit is looking for a Senior Backend Developer.
Responsibilities:
- You will be an early team member of a deep tech silicon valley startup. Most of our team are alumni of top schools (Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, Harvard) - and everyone values opportunity for personal and professional growth
- You will be working in our backend and infra team to build internal tools supporting our platform as well as improve our backend. In its simplest form the Bluequbit platform is a place to submit, monitor and experiment with quantum programs - you can think of it as AWS for quantum
- We highly value curiosity and expect you to challenge the status quo whenever you deem it right, but we also expect you to deliver and come up with working solutions in a timely and professional manner
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full time engineering experience
- Python proficiency, experience with Flask
- professional working knowledge of English
- experience with any of cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure
- experience with docker containers
- experience with databases, SQL, PostgreSQL
- fast learning skills
- ability to work independently
- eagerness to work with new technologies
- BS in Physics, Math, Computer Science or related fields
