Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling and ETL development using dbt. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data models, building reliable ETL pipelines, and contributing to the evolution of the data warehouse. Client: Our client is a huge investment company headquartered in New York City. Project Overview: The primary objective of this exciting project is to enhance the functionality of a cutting-edge Data Platform, empowering business users with the insights they need to make data-driven investment decisions. The Data Platform is already in production, and we are developing new features and projects tailored to specific business data-driven needs as well as introducing ongoing architectural changes to increase usage efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Data Modeling ETL pipeline development
  • Data warehouse design and implementation
  • BI report creation
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of work experience in a data engineering role or 3-5 completed projects
  • Experience with DBT, ETL pipelines, Snowflake, Python, Azure, complex SQL queries,
  • Knowledge of data management fundamentals (data modeling, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lakes patterns, distributed systems)
  • Good spoken English
