Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and perform audits of financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal and external regulations
  • Analyze financial records, invoices, contracts, and internal procedures to assess operational efficiency and risk exposure
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement
  • Investigate irregularities or potential fraud and recommend preventive measures
  • Prepare detailed and structured audit reports highlighting key findings, root causes of discrepancies, and practical recommendations
  • Coordinate audit activities with team members and relevant departments
  • Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions based on previous audit findings
  • Participate in the development of audit plans and methodologies
  • Support the training and mentoring of junior auditors
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor that align with the job description and comply with the labor code
Required Qualifications:
  • Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of professional experience in auditing or financial control, including roles with increased responsibility
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, internal control evaluation, and risk assessment practices
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Strong experience in preparing and reviewing audit documentation and reports
  • Excellent command of MS Office and accounting software (e.g., ArmSoft)
  • Thorough understanding of tax and labor legislation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of responsibility, independence, and attention to detail
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Fluency in Armenian; good command of English and Russian (both written and verbal)
