SoftConstruct is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist & Accounting Policy Lead.

Responsibilities:
  • Analysing business products and provide recommendation for accounting in compliance with IFRS standards
  • Monitor recent developments of IFRS standards and best practices in large companies
  • Work with product owners to understand the economics of the products
  • Work with legal team to understand legal terms associated with the products
  • Work with product engineers to understand the dataflow of the product
  • Write technical memo, analyzing the product in the context of IFRS standards
  • Provide technical specification to engineers to automate the accounting process
  • Regularly monitor the accounting compliance with the suggested recommendations
  • Monitor the consistency of IFRS applications across different group companies
  • Develop and update accounting policy for group companies
  • Develop and update accounting manual for group companies
  • Present and justify our accounting approach to internal and external auditors
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance, Economics, Management, or related discipline
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent
  • 3+ post qualification experience
  • Up to date technical skills and most recent industry developments
  • Deep understand of IFRS standards
  • Structured thinking and reasoning mindset
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS 15, IFRS 9, IAS 37
  • General knowledge of digital assets accounting
  • Experience in financial services, Big4 accounting firms and/or Tech industry
  • Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines
  • Strong English knowledge
