We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving high-performance network environments that support large-scale, mission-critical systems.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in enterprise networking, network security, and infrastructure architecture, along with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
Network Architecture & Infrastructure
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
– Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
– Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
– Use monitoring and diagnostic tools to analyze and improve system performance.
– Provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure issues.
Network Security
– Design and implement secure network architectures.
– Configure and maintain VPN solutions (SSL / IPSec).
– Implement and test access control mechanisms and disaster recovery plans.
– Ensure compliance with internal security standards.
Automation & Optimization
– Automate operational tasks using scripting or automation tools.
– Identify opportunities to improve network capacity, performance, and scalability.
– Implement monitoring and automation solutions to increase operational efficiency.
Collaboration & Leadership
– Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
– Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering teams
– Maintain comprehensive technical documentation
– Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when required
Experience
Networking Knowledge
– Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking.
– Strong experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
– Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
– Understanding of loop prevention mechanisms and network resiliency.
Security
– Experience with VPN technologies (SSL VPN, IPSec).
– Familiarity with network access control and security best practices.
– Experience configuring and managing firewalls.
Infrastructure & Technologies
Experience with several of the following technologies:
– Cisco, Juniper, or Arista routers and switches.
– FortiGate firewalls.
– Aruba campus networking solutions.
– A10 Thunder load balancers (advantage).
– VXLAN technologies (advantage).
Automation & Scripting
– Python, Perl, or other scripting languages
Infrastructure automation tools such as:
– Ansible.
– Jenkins.
Monitoring & Diagnostics
– Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as:
– Zabbix
– Scrutinizer
– Similar network monitoring platforms
Soft Skills
– Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
– Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
– Organizational and mentoring skills
– Ability to lead technical initiatives and guide team members

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable LAN, WLAN, and WAN network architectures.
  • Deploy and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.
  • Plan and manage network environments ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Configure and maintain IPSec tunnels, virtual IPs, access lists, and load balancing.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
  • Strong experience designing and operating enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Experience working in high-availability or large-scale production environments.
  • Professional networking certifications (e.g., CCNP or equivalent)
  • Experience working with large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience implementing network automation frameworks
