Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily operations on production databases
  • Monitor database health, performance, and availability
  • Check and manage database backups and recovery processes
  • Perform table partitioning and manage data files
  • Create and manage database users, roles, and permissions
  • Handle database-related incidents and troubleshoot issues
  • Optimize database performance and execute tuning activities
  • Support database planning, design, and capacity management
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Oracle database-related tools and environments
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 10g, 11g, and 12c
  • Strong knowledge of database administration fundamentals and best practices
  • Experience in database design, data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning
  • Strong understanding of SQL queries, internal packages, functions, and scheduled jobs
  • Experience with Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM)
  • Practical experience with RMAN backup and recovery
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
