FREEDOM FINANCE TECHNOLOGIES is a Cyprus-based fintech company and part of the international financial holding Freedom Finance. We develop and maintain trading and banking IT products, as well as the holding’s IT infrastructure worldwide. We are expanding our IT Infrastructure team and are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our amazing Billing team.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement new modules into web applications.
  • Integrate with external services.
  • Deploy new code to production.
  • Estimate development tasks.
  • Participate in the design and improvement of the product infrastructure to enhance stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Design architectural solutions, technologies, databases, and infrastructure to ensure stable and high-performing systems.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Backend or Full-Stack Developer, including at least 5 years of hands-on PHP development experience.
  • Experience with at least one PHP framework, such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework, or Yii.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Confident use of Git via the command line.
  • Good knowledge of the Linux command line, including the ability to independently set up and configure a web stack.
  • Willingness and ability to write and maintain automated tests.
  • Russian: native or C1
  • English: B1+
  • Experience working with monolith architectures and service-oriented migration
  • Ability to understand product and domain context, not just execute tasks
