Overview

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Data Analyst who will be responsible for delivering pricing, sales, and commercial analytics through Power BI. The role focuses on building and maintaining dashboards, analytical data models, and semantic layers, as well as working with analytical data warehouses such as ClickHouse. The consultant is expected to work independently in a low‑ambiguity environment and play a key role in supporting pricing‑related business decisions. Client: Our client is a large European enterprise operating one of the region’s most extensive retail and e‑commerce ecosystems. The project involves high‑traffic digital platforms, complex purchase funnels, and large‑scale marketing activities that require advanced analytics to support commercial and pricing decisions. Project Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for pricing, sales, and commercial analytics.
  • Develop analytical data models, semantic layers, and optimized dataset structures.
  • Work with ClickHouse or similar analytical DWH systems to source, prepare, and transform data.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting assets.
  • Collaborate with pricing, sales, and commercial teams to understand analytical needs and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and performance insights.
  • Optimize data refresh processes and dashboard performance.
  • Operate independently and deliver high‑quality analytics in a low‑ambiguity, fast‑paced environment.
  • Support ongoing improvements in pricing strategy through data‑driven recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst, preferably within e‑commerce, retail, or pricing analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, dashboard design).
  • Hands‑on experience building analytical data models and semantic layers.
  • Experience with analytical DWH systems; ClickHouse is a strong advantage.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage end‑to‑end reporting workflows.
  • Strong business understanding of pricing, sales performance metrics, and commercial KPIs.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
  • Familiarity with Python for data analysis.
  • Background in retail, e‑commerce, or revenue management.
  • Experience working in product analytics or marketing analytics environments.
