SoftConstruct is looking for a Senior Promo Risk Manager / VBET.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze player activity to identify and mitigate risks such as fraud, bonus hunting, and suspicious betting patterns
  • Develop and implement sophisticated methods and tools specifically targeting the detection and prevention of bonus hunting, including multi-accounting, pattern recognition, and abuse of promotional offers
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design promotions and bonus structures that minimize exploitation risks while maintaining customer appeal
  • Investigate suspected cases of bonus abuse, document findings, and take appropriate actions to safeguard company assets
  • Establish clear processes and guidelines for identifying and managing bonus hunting scenarios, including rule-based and machine-learning approaches
  • Work closely with data analytics teams to build predictive models for detecting bonus hunting patterns and behaviors
  • Create and maintain reports on bonus-related risks, including abuse rates, financial impact, and recommendations for mitigation
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in risk management within the iGaming industry, specifically sportsbook or casino
  • Deep understanding of bonus structures, common abuse tactics, and how to design promotions resistant to exploitation
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to detect patterns in player behavior
  • Experience in handling bonus-related fraud, such as multi-accounting and syndicate activities
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies used for detecting bonus hunting, fraud, and risk management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to developing preventative strategies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to align risk management and business goals
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus
  • English B1 or higher
