Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and own end-to-end test strategies for financial applications, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, backend services)
  • Perform manual testing for edge cases, complex workflows, and new features
  • Work closely with developers to identify, document, and resolve defects in a timely manner
  • Ensure testing covers compliance, risk, and security requirements relevant to FinTech (PCI DSS, AML-related flows, data integrity, etc.)
  • Analyze logs, monitor system performance, and help troubleshoot production issues
  • Participate in code reviews for test-related changes, providing feedback on testability and quality
  • Mentor QA team members and contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and tooling
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and enforce quality gates
Required Qualifications:
  • 4–6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with at least 2 years in a Senior role
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Appium)
  • Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or RestAssured
  • Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Good understanding of SQL and ability to validate data integrity in complex databases
  • Experience in FinTech, Banking, Payments, Trading, or other regulated industries is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts; experience with tools like JMeter, Gatling is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
