Overview

This role combines security architecture expertise with enterprise platform architecture leadership. The position is responsible for defining and governing security and platform architecture strategies across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technology standards, and compliance requirements.

The individual will collaborate with global security, enterprise architecture, and technology teams to design secure, scalable, and innovative solutions for cloud, infrastructure, and application platforms.

Project Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Define and document security functional and non-functional requirements for enterprise solutions.
  • Develop and implement security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles, IAM/CIAM, PAM, and other cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Lead evaluations and recommendations for security platforms (e.g., SIEM, ID Proofing, secrets management).
  • Author and maintain security standards, reference architectures, patterns, and guidelines.
  • Define global deployment architecture for enterprise-wide SaaS platforms and own onboarding strategies.
  • Develop architecture frameworks for integrating security across business, data, application, and technology domains.
  • Drive adoption of patterns and standards across solution roadmaps.
  • Review and approve architecture solutions through governance processes to ensure strategic alignment and minimize technical debt.
  • Research emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, edge computing) and assess security implications.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for advisory, review, and approval of designs and configurations.
  • Provide mentorship to junior architects and foster a mature DevSecOps culture.
  • Develop and mature threat modeling and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Communicate complex security architecture concepts in business-friendly language.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an architecture role within complex enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), TOGAF, CISSP, CSM (one or more certifications preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with IAM/CIAM, SIEM, ID Proofing platforms.
  • Strong background in cloud security architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps technologies, processes, and practices.
  • Proficiency in architecture modeling using industry-standard notation languages (e.g., ArchiMate).
  • Experience drafting and institutionalizing architecture patterns and standards.
  • Knowledge of software application development across multiple programming languages and platforms.
  • Experience with application design and development on one or more cloud platforms.
