Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Administer VMware vSphere/vCenter clusters (ESXi hosts, HA, DRS, EVC), including upgrade planning and implementation
  • Manage SAN and DAS storage (HPE MSA series) via Fibre Channel and SAS — configure LUNs, multipathing, and NVMe datastores
  • Plan and execute VM provisioning, resource pool allocation, and capacity planning
  • Operate and optimise Veeam Backup & Replication: backup jobs, replication, proxy configuration, and repository management
  • Manage pfSense/firewall rulesets, IPsec VPN tunnels, and SIP trunk configurations
  • Maintain Active Directory domain services, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, and DHCP
  • Enforce mail security controls: Postfix/Zimbra hardening, DKIM, SPF, anti-spoofing policies
  • Respond to security incidents and implement remediation measures in line with CBA requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • VMware vSphere/vCenter administration (5+ years)
  • Windows Server and Active Directory (GPO, DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
  • Linux server administration — Rocky Linux / CentOS / RHEL
  • Backup & replication with Veeam Backup & Replication
  • SAN/NAS storage management (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, SAS)
  • Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, IPsec VPN, routing
  • Mail server administration (Exchange, Zimbra or equivalent MTA)
  • Scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
