The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a strategic initiative to build a centralized, scalable data ecosystem. This role focuses on the visualization layer, transforming complex data architectures into intuitive, high-impact dashboards that support analytics and C-level executive decision-making.

The Tableau Engineer will join a newly forming team of data specialists, working at the intersection of engineering and business intelligence. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated visualization solutions that provide clear insights into investment performance and portfolio data.

The organization operates within a highly regulated environment and prioritizes transforming complex concepts into actionable financial strategies for a global clientele.
Project Overview:
This role requires an overlap with EST working schedule (until 1 pm EST at least for EU and APAC regions).

Responsibilities:
  • Build, maintain, and optimize sophisticated dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
  • Develop data sources and semantic layers within Snowflake to support streamlined reporting.
  • Collaborate with business teams to define KPIs and translate requirements into visual formats.
  • Ensure total data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
  • Continually improve dashboard performance and usability for an enhanced user experience.
  • Document dashboard logic and provide training to end-users to support platform adoption.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of dedicated Tableau development experience.
  • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of data modeling principles.
  • Proven ability to build executive-level dashboards and translate business requirements into strategic visual insights.
Nice To Have:
  • Professional experience within the wealth management or financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with data schemas from Addepar, Salesforce, or NetSuite.
  • Understanding of core financial metrics and investment terminology.
  • Experience utilizing DBT models as the primary data source layer.
