Overview
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores based on business and client needs
- Build and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
- Create responsive, high-performing, and user-friendly e-commerce pages
- Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and other tools into Shopify stores
- Optimize website speed, performance, and overall user experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to store functionality
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and improvements
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and follow best practices for e-commerce development
- Perform regular updates, testing, and maintenance of Shopify websites
- Stay updated on Shopify platform changes, new features, and industry trends
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Shopify platform and Liquid templating language
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development
- Experience with Shopify theme customization and app integration
- Understanding of e-commerce UX/UI principles
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
