Overview
Galaxy Group of Companies is looking for a SMM specialist and Event Planner.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative social media strategies aligned with company goals
- Plan, create, and schedule content across multiple platforms
- Monitor social channels, respond to comments/messages, and engage with our community
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging

- Plan and execute in-person and virtual events, including logistics, scheduling, and budgeting
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure event objectives are met
- Promote events through social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns
- Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown
- Collect feedback and prepare post-event reports with analysis and recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing and/or event planning
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Graphic design, video editing, or photography skills
