SoftConstruct is looking for a Sports Data Operator.

Responsibilities:
  • Championship & Match Management
  • Create and configure new seasons for championships
  • Select and apply the correct calculation models for each league
  • Ensure real-time and historical accuracy of league standings
  • Add and update missing or delayed matches as needed
  • Assign games to the appropriate season and manage manual scoring tasks
  • Data Verification & Quality Control:
  • Monitor and validate the accuracy of game results
  • Cross-check sportsbook-provided data; report errors to the relevant department
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of team statistics, lineups, and related match data
  • Team & Visual Data Oversight:
  • Monitor team logos and update or replace when necessary
  • Track the availability and accuracy of team kits (jerseys) and update as needed
  • Verify and map player, coach, referee, and stadium data using multiple data sources
  • Ensure all team member information is correct and provide updates to relevant teams
  • Live Match Support & Manual Data Input:
  • Manually select starting lineups and input statistics for top-tier league games
  • Respond promptly to questions and requests in internal working channels during live match events
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a related field, such as Sports Management, Statistics, or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role (experience in the sports or statistics industry is a plus)
  • Skilled in handling live match environments and responding to real-time requests
  • Knowledge of player, coach, and referee mapping and data integration from various databases
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for sports
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during live sporting events
  • Familiarity with various football/sports leagues and competitions
  • Experience in data entry or statistics management is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of data validation and cross-referencing across multiple sources
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments
  • Comfortable using internal tools, spreadsheets, and live monitoring systems
