SoftConstruct is looking for a Sportsbook Risk Operating Team Lead / VBET.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee real-time risk management operations for all sportsbook activities
  • Monitor betting patterns and flag irregular or suspicious activity, including sharp bettors and high-risk bets
  • Implement and refine risk assessment models and strategies to minimize loss and fraud
  • Lead and mentor a team of sportsbook risk analysts, ensuring high performance and efficiency
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on risk mitigation techniques and best practices
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support team members' career growth and development
  • Work closely with other departments to establish effective risk controls
  • Generate detailed reports on risk trends, operational efficiency, and key metrics, providing insights to senior management
  • Evaluate and enhance existing policies and procedures to ensure optimal risk management in a dynamic environment
  • Balance risk management with customer experience to avoid undue restrictions on legitimate customers
  • Handle high-profile and VIP accounts, ensuring that risk measures are both effective and customer-friendly
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management in the iGaming or sportsbook industry
  • Proven leadership experience in a team lead or management role
  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting products, markets, and risk management strategies
  • Familiarity with sportsbook trading, odds, and betting systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team management and cross-department collaboration
