Gulf Armenia is looking for a System Administrator.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware and software systems, including servers, networks, workstations, and security systems
  • Manage IT support for employees, troubleshooting technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity, and ensuring minimal downtime
  • Ensure the protection of data and systems by managing security protocols, conducting regular security assessments, and implementing best practices for data protection and disaster recovery
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality of service
  • Oversee IT support functions, resolving technical issues for staff, ensuring minimal downtime, and providing timely resolutions to IT-related problems
  • Work closely with different departments to understand their technology needs, providing customized solutions to improve operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience as an System Administrator or similar role in a non-IT-focused organization, preferably in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Good knowledge of English and Russian languages
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, software, and systems management
  • Proficiency in network security, firewalls, and data protection practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
