Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Coach and mentor engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Oversee code reviews, ensure compliance with banking security standards, and deliver resilient, fault-tolerant systems
  • Partner with business analysts, risk managers, and product owners to align technical solutions with loan policies and business objectives
  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of loan origination and credit scoring microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Architect integrations with credit bureaus, scoring engines, and decision management systems to deliver real-time approvals and risk assessments
  • Define, implement, and enforce best practices in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API-first design
  • Actively contribute to coding, technical problem-solving, and performance optimization
Required Qualifications:
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related technical fields
  • 5+ years of software development experience with Core Java & Spring Boot
  • Proven expertise in Microservices architecture and RESTful API design
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Cloud, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Hands-on experience with credit scoring, risk management, loan decisioning systems, or fintech lending platforms
  • Understanding of cloud-native development, API gateways, and event-driven design
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with credit bureau integration and decision management systems (e.g., FICO, SAS, Experian) is a strong plus
  • Exposure to .NET/C# is beneficial for cross-platform integration
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Armenian; good proficiency in Russian and English
