Overview
We are seeking a Technical Lead to support and evolve the client’s monolithic backend application while driving delivery of new features such as billing, account management, and other client-facing functionality. This role combines hands-on development with architectural guidance and team leadership across the full stack.
Working Time Zone: CET (Central European Time) with flexibility for collaboration across distributed teams.

They provide software and services that help healthcare organizations manage data, workflows, and key business functions more efficiently.
Project Overview:
- Take ownership of the existing backend application, ensuring stability while accelerating implementation of new features aligned with business needs.
- Write clean, scalable code in Python and contribute to migration from Django to Node.js or Flask.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers (React) to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize messaging and streaming layers (RabbitMQ, Redpanda) and manage data workflows with PostgreSQL.
- Drive technical decisions, mentor team members, and define coding standards.
- Lead architectural discussions and ensure best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Support deployment and scaling using Kubernetes in cloud environments.
- Proven experience in backend development with Python, Django, and Node.js/Flask.
- Strong proficiency in React for interfacing with frontend partners.
- Solid experience with event streaming and message queue systems (Redpanda, RabbitMQ).
- Expertise with PostgreSQL and containerized deployment using Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience with healthcare or SaaS platforms, especially in billing or account management domains.
- Prior work in maintaining or modernizing monolithic legacy systems.
- Familiarity with GCP and CI/CD practices.
- Previous experience in a Technical Lead or Architect role with cross-functional teams.
