Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Participation in company projects related to software and hardware product development
  • Communicating with developers, analysts, experts, testers, and project managers to ensure documentation meets business requirements and technical specifications
  • Writing and revising technical documentation (user and administrator’s guides, help manuals) in adherence to company brand standards
  • Writing and maintaining company product usage guidelines and technical references
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
  • Translating documentation into other languages when required
  • Identifying and correcting defects in documentation, processing issues, bugs, and feedback related to documentation
  • Participating in the creation of texts for marketing materials, including descriptions of technical information for company products
  • Reviewing documentation created by other technical writers to ensure consistency and quality
  • Participating in the improvement and optimization of doc.umentation processes and standards within the company
  • Participation in the creation of texts for product interfaces and in-product help systems
  • Taking part in presentations and training sessions on software development and documentation processes
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an IT, software development, or cybersecurity environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian; ability to write clearly and concisely for different audiences
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation
  • Experience working with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to collect and verify information
  • Familiarity with documentation tools and platforms like AuthorIT and Translation memory would be plus
  • Strong attention to details, organization, and ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and terminology
  • Degree in Technical Communication, Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
