Overview
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute user research using qualitative methods aligned with project goals and timelines
- Collaborate with design and product teams to define research objectives and approaches
- Analyze user data to identify behaviors, trends, and pain points
- Synthesize research findings into clear and actionable insights that inform design decisions
- Conduct discovery research through interviews and workshops with government stakeholders, vendors, and partners
- Ensure alignment between user needs and stakeholder expectations
- Engage with a diverse range of citizens through interviews, surveys, and focus groups
- Ensure that insights represent the perspectives of all demographic groups and communities
- Plan and run usability tests to evaluate how users interact with digital products
- Work closely with designers, developers, analysts, and researchers to integrate findings into product development
- Present research outcomes in a clear and engaging format for both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in UX/UI design or research with a portfolio demonstrating your contributions
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, or FigJam
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting research data and making design recommendations
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams
- A genuine passion for understanding users and improving their digital experiences
