Overview
SoftLand LLC is looking for a UX Writer.
Responsibilities:
- Write intuitive and effective microcopy, help text, error messages, tooltips, and other UI text across platforms, ensuring the language is simple, direct, and action-oriented
- Develop content strategies for new features, product launches, and redesigns, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging across platforms
- Apply user personas to craft content that resonates with our target audience and build empathy maps to understand user motivations, needs, and frustrations
- Write action-oriented error messages and alerts, ensuring that users are guided effectively during their interactions with the product
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UX Writer or Technical Content Writer with a clear understanding of their role in improving user experience and interaction within UI/UX design
- Ability to create and execute content strategies, aligned with business goals and user needs
- Expertise in applying user personas, empathy maps, and user research insights to craft meaningful and effective content
- Experience with writing for web, mobile apps, and digital interfaces, adapting content to different platforms
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, developers, and researchers to ensure alignment on content goals
